Ike cooled off at the park today!

Ike helped himself to some of my lemonade while we were waiting for Dan to meet us.

Monkey caught the feather this morning...

and Ike almost caught her!

In the afternoon, he learned about tic tac toe with dad in the park.

Nectarine picnic. August 8th, 2009.

We had a picnic in the park!

I gave Ike some cherrios to start...

but he quickly discovered the nectarines we picked up at the farmer's market.

He was pretty excited, and he had a pretty good idea of what to do with one.

He tried a new technique for more stability.

Back to cherrios.

He saw a dog walking by and thought he'd go catch it.

When that didn't work out he tried to take panda to the neighboring picnic(they had some fun music).

Retrieved by dad.

We've had a busy summer!

Pattypan. August 7th, 2009.

Ike decided to taste some pattypan squash today.

It was much better once we cooked it for dinner.

Later we went for a walk.

We stopped at the grocery store and found a teething biscuit for Ike that he dispatched immediately.

Enjoying the sky at dusk.

Pushing the chair from below, he was sort of stuck.
