On the second leg of our flights, I sat with Calvin and Ike sat with Dan. And on the final leg, driving from Memphis, he boys are in the back. Both facing forward for the first time!

Ike's teacher invited us to the car show today. Super hot with lots of cool cars! We also picked our first tomato of the season. Ike ate it with gusto! And we had so many beans, we decided to pickle them! Ike helped me add the spices to the jars.

Calvin was hungry at lunch today! We hung out at home and the boys played in the sandbox.

Ike swam, ate s'mores, and put on a "fireblade" show. That's a 4th of July party!

Calvin helped me water the garden this morning and he picked some arugula flowers for himself.

Wendy and Guy visited this afternoon and we all went for a swim in the river.
Last week we found some eggs in a catch pool and today they were tiny tadpoles!

Guinness and family came over for dinner tonight. Molly helped me put up Ike's 2d headboard and the two bedbugs jumped right in.

It was Lucy's birthday today! There were tiny frogs and cupcakes, minnows, nets, and balloons. And mustaches. Ike also got a kiss from the birthday girl!
