Spring mud. April 25-26 2017
Puddle looking at the tiny muddy puppy paw tracks on our freshly cleaned floor. Birdie perfectly content in her cute spring suit. Calvin deeply involved in the process of getting new shoes. And the boys out in the mud again, working on our bean pole tent.
Dan trapped in the phone. April 25 2017.
Another pic from Ikes run at school and digging in the yard.
We called Dan on face time and this was the first time Birdie really saw that it was him on the screen. She was amazed and worried and happy to see him. And a late night interlude on the wurlitzer.

Sleep and sushi. April 22 2017.
Birdie woke up while we were out to sushi and was very interested. The boys passed out on the way home--they worked hard today. And Dan still at it in the back yard. It was a busy earthday.
Birdie's eyes look like Ikes to me. April 22nd 2017
Ikes eyes were dark blue when he was little but now they're more grey green or hazel. Wondering if hers will change too. Calvins are a definite blue.
Planting in the forest for Earthday. April 22 2017
We did some work planting native species in the columbia watershed today. Ike and Dan planted Oregon grape and Calvin, Birdie and I planted snow berries.
Bucket bed Friday. April 21st 2017
Really beautiful day today! Ike had a fundraising run at school today and I took the boys to the park after school. Dan made it home just in time to join us for family fun night!

Birdie gets a hat. April 18-20 2017.
Reuben made a hat for Birdie! So sweet. And Birdie intent on petting Penny who you can't really see in the picture. Calvin trying the one handed baby holding eating style he's seen me doing lately.
Birdie's lashes. April 17 2017
Birdie had super short lashes when she was born but they've since grown. Now they're long and curly and hard to catch in a picture!
