Ike and I were on the bus coming home when the storm hit. It was exciting. We were on our way back from doing grocery shopping to make soup.

Rainy days and Mondays. September 13th 2010

We had a rough day today. Shortly after this expert display of swinging on the monkey bars, Ike proceeded to run around like crazy. He tripped and chipped his left front tooth!

We took him home, cleaned him up, and he sent most of the rest of the day napping. We ended the day the upswing and he read some books to bear and monkey with dad.

Jam session. September 12th, 2010.

Ike and Avi were cracking us all up after dinner tonight. But when it was time for bed we decided to take it down a notch with a Disney movie.

It looked like it was working. But once Dan and Richie started to jam on the guitar and piano, Ike couldn't resist joining in on Avi's mini piano and all remaining hopes of a decent bedtime were lost!

Today we drove out to Connecticuit to visit Avi at her grandparent's house. They have a pool! That's Avi's dad Richie helping them with the bubbles.
Later when we were getting Ike changed for his nap, he tried on my shades. And we could see Dan out the window. He was happy to be fishing!

Today we met Zackary and Lydia at the park. We didn't get to play too long though because Ike had a dentist appointment this afternoon! He did great!
