It was great to wake up to the lake!
Ike felt otherwise about the sunscreen, but I thought it was pretty cute.
Sam and Dan rowed off in the boat.
We stayed on the lawn...
and investigated buttercups.
And the dock.
Jennifer took some pictures.
Later we drove into the next town, they were having a trout festival. We missed the action, but we caught some yard sales and we found this old waterwheel.
Back in the kitchen, I turned around to see Ike up on his hands and knees!
I think this is a first!
He seemed pretty pleased with himself.
Dan and Sam came back with fish! Some nice bass and perch. Dan did the filleting and we cooked them up!
Ike also knows how to work the star turtle all by himself now.
Mike and Alison made it in time for dinner. Afterward we played quite an intense game of jenga!
Jennifer brought the house down!
And we had a cookie cake for Dan, but Ike was tired by then.
