A sun luck day at the park. August 6th, 2009

Today we met Abby and Felix for a day at the park. The boys had a lot of investigating to do. Teethers, napkins, grass. We were playing the odds with the weather. It was supposed to rain, and it looked a little overcast when we arrived...

But it turned out to be beautifully sunny!

To everyone's amusement, Felix decided to taste Ike's arm!

I decided to go for a roll down the hill... and Ike came crawling after!

He caught me!

And moved on to the next point of interest...

Luckily I caught him too.

After all the excitement, everyone needed a little rest!

Seashell lamp. August 5th, 2009.

Dad watched Ike for awhile today and when I came home, I found them playing piano!

Ike really likes the lamp Tom gave us.

We're all happy that Puddle has figured out how to get over the new gate.

Toothbrush. August 4th, 2009.

Ike has a toothbrush! It doubles as a teether.

And he had a mommy back ride tonight.

A sink and a gate. August 3rd, 2009

Some special things arrived in the mail today!

One is a play sink for Ike... so fun!

Meanwhile Dan installed the other thing--a gate for the stairs!

Back to the sink.

In his third change of the day, courtesy of Dad(and the new sink water feature), and getting ready for a walk.

Back home, Ike enjoys the freedom to roam without hovering parents trying to prevent him from falling down the stairs.

Ike likes to play drums on the water bottles. I am expected to dance to the beats.
